Terms for reviews, guides and tools
These terms cover the reviews, guides and tools provided by PainToBuild, which is run by one person under the PainToBuild name.
For a personal review, your written agreement adds the details of your review. If your agreement and this page differ, your agreement applies.
Personal reviews
Before I start, you and I agree in writing on the question, the work, the price and the delivery date. The agreement lists what you receive and what is not included. It also says when the later results review will take place.
Sending an inquiry does not start paid work. Any extra work needs a separate agreement.
You remain responsible for running your business and carrying out the test unless the agreement says otherwise.
Information and timing
I need the agreed information to carry out the review.
If information arrives late, is missing or is not suitable, I will tell you, and the delivery date may need to move. Any change to the schedule is agreed with you in writing.
Questions and the later review
The Founder Decision Review includes one round of questions about the written review and one later review of the test results.
Your agreement says how long you have to send questions and results, which results to send, and what happens if the test is not run.
Payment, cancellation and refunds
Your agreement says how and when you pay, and when work is considered started.
If you or I cancel before work starts, you pay nothing, and anything you have already paid is refunded. After work starts, cancellation and refunds follow your agreement.
This does not affect any rights you have by law.
Guides and tools
The Brief and Kit are separate products. Each product page lists the files, edition and price. Future volumes are separate purchases unless the listing says they are included.
The guides are digital files delivered through Gumroad, which is the seller of record for these purchases. Sales are final and not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or under Gumroad's own buyer protection.
What the advice can promise
My advice is based on the information available at the time of the review. Sometimes the next step is more research rather than a change to the product.
A review cannot guarantee customers, revenue, funding or a successful business.
Your information and work
The privacy page and your agreement explain how your information is handled.
You can use your written review for your own business. I do not publish your material or results without your separate permission.
