Privacy and your information
This page explains what happens to your information when you contact me, request a guide or pay for a review.
Who is responsible
PainToBuild is run by one person under the PainToBuild name. You can send privacy questions to hello@paintobuild.com.
Messages and review material
When you email me, I receive your address, message and anything you attach. I use this information to reply and, if agreed, carry out the review.
Email sent to hello@paintobuild.com passes through ImprovMX, a service that forwards it to my inbox. It is then stored in my Gmail account, which Google provides. I do not share your messages or review material with other people unless you agree.
You can ask me to delete your messages and review material at any time.
Start with a short summary. I will ask for more information only if it is needed for the agreed work.
AI tools and other services
I do not put your messages or review material into public AI services, such as ChatGPT or Claude.
The outside services that handle your information are the ones named on this page: ImprovMX and Google for email, MailerLite for past template emails, Gumroad for guide purchases and Cloudflare for the website.
Sharing examples of client work
I ask for separate permission before publishing your material or results. That permission covers what I can share and whether I can identify you.
Template downloads
The free template is a direct download. I do not ask for your email address to get it.
If you asked for the template by email before 27 September 2026, MailerLite still keeps your address. To have it removed, email hello@paintobuild.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email you received.
Purchases
Gumroad handles payments for the guides and tools. Its checkout has its own terms and privacy information.
As the seller, I can see the purchase details Gumroad shows sellers, such as your email address and what you bought. I never see your card details. For a personal review, how you pay is set out in your written agreement.
Website visitor information
The website is served by Cloudflare. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
Questions or requests
Email hello@paintobuild.com if you have a question or want to ask about your information. You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights too.
